What we look for
Our inspectors check for lifted, cracked or missing tiles and shingles, damaged ridge and hip caps, flashing pulled away at chimneys and walls, punctures from branches, clogged or detached gutters, and signs of water entry in the attic where accessible.

Safety first
Do not climb onto a wet or damaged roof. If you see sagging ceilings, downed power lines or structural damage, keep clear and call 911 or your utility before calling a roofer.

How soon after a storm should I get my roof inspected?
As soon as it is safe. Small openings let water into the deck and insulation with every rain, and insurers usually expect damage to be reported promptly.
